Appliqué / Tackle Twill Letter Sweatshirts by Kustom Imprints
Appliqué is one step beyond traditional embroidery, where individual cut pieces of twill fabric are sewn onto a garment around the edge. Appliqué is also frequently called tackle twill and is very commonly associated with Greek sweatshirts (fraternities & sororities) as well as athletic team uniforms. Kustom Imprints does all of the applique work in-house with our own computerized twill fabric cutter and embroidery machines.

| Did You Know? Silk Screening is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink blocking stencil. The attached stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink as a sharp-edged image onto a substrate. A roller or squeegee is moved across the screen stencil forcing or pumping ink past the threads of the woven mesh in the open areas. |
